Pillow Block  Bearings



Introduction:

Bearing units is made of insert bearings and various structural type casting housings (or stamping steel housings). Insert bearing is a kind of deep groove ball bearing with spherical outer ring and double sealing structure and some types have widened inner ring.


This bearing has the advantages of compact structure, light weight, small size. It has greater carrying capacity and higher limit speed comparing those corresponding dimensions spherical ball bearings which are equipped with splittable housings. It has good spherical performance and the permitted angle is up to ±10°. It has a lower requirement to the machining accuracy of host-relevant parts. Between bearing inner hole and shaft is clearance fit that can directly adopt jackscrew (set screw), eccentric sleeve or set busing to make bearing and shaft to fastening, installation and easy disassembly in any position, especially suitable for main engine with multi-branch bearing, long shaft and small rigidity deformable shaft. Among them, bearings with set screw are suitable for the occasion of constant rotation; bearings with adapter sleeve are suitable for changeabledirection of rotation, and the smooth running of the occasion than the previous two bearings.
Bearing has reliable sealing device that can prevent dirty invading and lubricating grease outing. The lubricating grease inside bearing can make bearing normal work in a certain period. If necessary, adding lubricating grease through oil hole regularly to keep bearing smooth, long-term usage.


Pillow Block Units
The pillow block is one of the most common and representative bearing units form. It’s installed and fixed on the machine by two bolts. This type of units are with wide range of purpose. According to different applications and use requirement, it can be divided into the following types:

Such as special alloy pillow block, pressed pillow block, stainless pillow block. They are mainly used in food machinery, pharmaceutical machinery, agricultural machinery, etc. They perfectly meet the customers’ demands about cleaner environment, corrosion resistance, and lightweighting needs under low rotation speed and light load circumstance.


Square Flange Units
UCF200, UCF3OO, UCFS300, etc.

Our square flange units are manufactured according to NTN standard. It’s a bearing unit form combined by insert bearing and square flange housing. Suitable for installation in side of machinery and other vertical surface. It’s fixed on the machine by four bolts. When there are cylindrical bulge on the mounting surface of the square flange units, this part should be fitted into the mounting hole in the machine, then fixed with four bolts.

The square flange units are mainly used in Rotating drum, rotating roller, and the application requires high mounting accuracy.

The main series include: UCF200, UCF300, UCFS300, etc.


Rhombus Flange units

It’s a bearing unit form combined by insert bearing and rhombus flange housing. Suitable for installation in side of machinery and other vertical surface. Compared with the square flange units, the installation space reduced, component quality is decreased accordingly.


The center distance of the two mounting bolt holes of rhombus flange units is equal to the center distance of the two pairs of angular bolt holes of the square flange units, so they are interchangeable with each other. It’s fixed on the machine by two bolts.

This kind of bearing units are mainly used in Rigidity roller conveyor, the use for small installation space, etc.


Modified(Rhombus)Flange Units
It’s a modified flange unit, which could adjust the angle of the unit with a fulcrum as the center. So, we could make fine adjustment to the support position of the shaft center when the bearing unit installed.

The center distance of the mounting bolt holes of modified rhombus flange unit is equal to the center distance of square flange unit’s and rhombus flange unit’s, so they are interchangeable with each other. It’s fixed on the machine by two bolts.

The flange units only with one side rhombus, is suitable for installation in side of machinery and other vertical surface, or the use of small space. It’s fixed on the machine by three bolts.


Round Flange Units

It’s bearing unit form combined by insert bearing and round flange housing with cylindrical bulge. When installation, the cylindrical bulge should be fitted into the mounting hole, then fixed with four bolts. This structure could confirm the housing fixed on the right position.

It’s mainly used in Rotating drum, rotating roller, and the application requires high mounting accuracy.


Take-up Units

It’s a bearing unit form combined by insert bearing and housing with guide groove. The support position of the shaft center could be adjusted by the radial movement of the housing.

It’s mainly used in the belt conveyor or the place the shaft center position needed to be adjusted.


Cartridge Units

It’s bearing unit form combined by insert bearing and outer cylindrical housing. The cylindrical housing, after h7 precision process, can be installed into the hole of the machine.

The cartridge units could make axial movement, so in the use of shaft stretch needed, it’s widely used as a free end bearing. In addition, the outer diameter surface is cylindrical, with a self-aligning function, it’s possible to be used same as the self-aligning bearings.


Hanger Units

It’s bearing unit form combined by insert bearing and the housing with inner cylindrical thread shaft body. Mounted to the machine with steel suspension.

It’s mainly used in the middle of screw conveyor
